Richard Cohen recently (June 15 in the Arizona Republic) wrote an article entitled “The absurdity of assault-weapon availability in public markets” in which he railed against weapons which he should know (and probably does) are NOT available in public markets. The weapons he refers to as assault weapons (a term manufactured by the left to incite opposition) are fully automatic. Such weapons have been outlawed in the United States since the 1930s. Similar looking weapons that are only SEMI-automatic are available but these are not the weapons of war Cohen disingenuously rails against.
