CAVE CREEK – Where can you see cowboys in bathtubs flying down a street? Pig races and kids riding sheep? A festive parade in a town transported back to the late 1800s? It’s Cave Creek wild West Days!

EVENT: 13th Annual Cave Creek Wild West Days

DATES/TIMES: Wednesday, Nov. 2 through Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016
The parade takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

HIGHLIGHTS: Hosted by the Cave Creek Merchants & Events Association (CCMEA), this fun event kicks off with bull riding on Wednesday night and features a number of mini-events throughout the Town of Cave Creek for both kids and adults, including a festive parade, bathtub races, pig races, mutton bustin’ (kids riding sheep), a half-pie eating contest, a Bachelor/Bachelorette auction, a cornhole tournament, a Battle of the Bars bull riding competition, a Ms. Wild West Days contest, a spectacular fireworks display, a horseback Poker Trail Ride, a motorcycle ride, special performances from award-winning re-enactment group, The Prescott Regulators & Their Shady Ladies, a special performance by Jan Marrou, “A Tribute to the American Cowboy”, live music by the country band Mogollon, a gun raffle and much more.

ADMISSION: FREE

PARKING: FREE; The Town will close one lane of Cave Creek Road for the parade on Saturday and a shuttle will provide service from the east to the west side of town.
