The Maricopa Trail and Park Foundation is hosting the inaugural Prickly Pedal on the Maricopa Trail Mountain Bike Race on January 23, 2016.

The event begins at Lake Pleasant Regional Park and ends in the Town of Cave Creek (near the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area). An estimated 300 riders will wind their way along the Maricopa Trail to complete the 50-mile course. Proceeds from the race will go toward the Maricopa Trail and Park Foundation.

In order to make this event SPECTACULAR, the Foundation needs 200 awesome volunteers to assist with registration, water stations, aid stations, the finish line, and much more!

Volunteers are needed on Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23 for various duties and times. To sign-up a group to assist on either day, please contact Kim Richard at [email protected], or (928) 501-9212.
