My pledge to you

In the daily exercise of doing my job I am often targeted by groups that file legal actions against me for a variety of reasons.

In some instances I have to personally pay for attorneys to represent me in these cases. I do not have the personal wealth or the wherewithal to keep up with the costly demands of paying for attorneys to defend me.

So many of my supporters have asked me, "What else can I do to help?" That's why several years ago, I established the "Joe Arpaio Legal Defense Fund," created to help raise money with which I can defend myself against the numerous lawsuits I face day in and day out.

I'm going to keep fighting for what I know is right. I took an oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution and I will keep that oath until my last breath.

Will you join me? I desperately need your help now -- I cannot do it alone.

Your financial support today is critical. Please make a much-needed, generous contribution of $25, $50 or even $100 to the "Joe Arpaio Legal Fund" today!

Unlike a political campaign, there are no limits to how much you can give. Further, the contribution can come from any entity: business, trust, corporation, etc.

I would be so honored and grateful if you would consider making a contribution today. I don't have the personal resources to pay for attorneys to represent me in each and every case. Your most generous gift would be greatly appreciated.

I pledge to you that I will never give up or surrender -- and I thank you for your support.

Again, I cannot express enough my gratitude for your support and backing. Thank you so very much.

Sincerely,

Sheriff Joe Arpaio

A warrior needs your help

The career of a warrior is now at risk because he did the right thing. When Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland was told by a 12 year-old Afghan boy's mother that an Afghan military leader had chained her son to his bed in order to repeatedly rape him, Sgt. Martland and his captain confronted the Afghan leader.

While most of us would consider the act of trying to stop the sexual abuse of a child as a normal human response, Sgt. Martland was reprimanded for this action. This winner of two Bronze Stars, including one for valor, has been told he will be dismissed from the military in November.

Sgt. Martland's case is unfortunately not unique. While the sexual abuse of children is widespread in Afghanistan, the New York Times reports, "Among American military personnel and civilians who served in Afghanistan, it was well known that many wealthy and prominent Afghans rape boys, often making them dress up as women and dance at gatherings during which they are assaulted -- and that Western officials often turned a blind eye to the practice for fear of alienating allies."

What does it mean to be an American soldier? If our brave men and women must turn away from such atrocities in the name of not alienating allies, do we stand for anything anymore?

I believe Americans are better than that. If you agree with me, please join me in signing the petition below to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees.

I, the undersigned, urge you to pressure the Pentagon to clear Sgt. Charles Martland's record on the matter concerning his intervention to protect a young Afghan boy from sexual abuse. I also ask that you investigate the policy concerning the ability of U.S. military personnel to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation.

If you agree with the above petition, visit http:///www.frc.org/alert/a-warrior-needs-your-help to sign it.

We'll deliver it to the committees and let them know that the American people stand with Sgt. Martland and will not tolerate turning a blind eye to the abuse of children.

Sincerely,

Lt. Gen. (US Army-Ret.) William "Jerry" Boykin

The science of Agent Orange

The Vietnam War was the most shameful War in all of American history, a war lost by politics, not by those who fought it. It is a war that will never be forgotten and will live on into infamy. Why? It is because of the deadly herbicides used in that war, herbicides so deadly they are second only to radiation poisoning. In science it is known as 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (2,3,7,8-TCDD), better known by its code name Agent Orange. It has almost the same ingredients as the herbicide Round-Up minus the Dioxin, but can be just as harmful – especially to children and animals. The Vietnam War will never be forgotten for generations to come. Dioxin is in the human body of Vietnam veterans who came in contact with that herbicide; it resides in human fatty tissue and can and has been passed on to many of their children. Half life in the human body is approx. 9 to 12 years, therefore tens of generations can continue to be infected (half life has yet to be scientifically determined). The Vietnam War will be in the minds of those who fought and the minds of their survivors for generations to come. How did Agent Orange infect Navy at sea! The herbicide was mixed with diesel fuel to stick to plant life. Rain would wash it into streams and rivers that coursed into the South China Sea where our ships were located. Rough seas and storms would churn up the sea's surface and the Dioxin would settle to the bottom. The South China Sea is a shallow sea. Our combat ships traveling at high speed would stir up the bottom bringing Dioxin to the surface. Dropping anchor also stirred the bottom. Navy ships distill sea water into fresh water by evaporation; contaminated dioxin water would be sucked into the intake of the ships’ evaporation systems. The heating and pressurizing process intensified the Dioxin by tenfold as proven by the Institute of Medicine (IOM). This is how Navy sailors at sea never having boots on ground Vietnam became sick from their fresh drinking water. The VA and Congress criticize this scientific fact which has denied benefits to Navy at sea. Legislative Bills are introduced, but seem to fail with the next seating of Congress. Presently there are two Bills: House Bill HR-969 and Senate Bill S.861. If passed, they will afford benefits to those Navy who served at sea. Tell your members of Congress and Senate to pass these Bills.

Restrict immigration to Western World

Syrians and Iraqis are currently flooding Europe seeking a new life. European countries previously allowed 20 million people from the Middle East and North Africa to enter after WWII. They now number 50 million, and they refuse to integrate into Western societies. Most of the areas settled by these immigrants are depressed and lawless, and the immigrants want to implement Sharia law.

Some European countries are passing immigration laws which allow entry only to Syrian Christians, and Yazidis who are an oppressed minority in Syria.

The United States, a country founded on Christian principles, could increase its quotas for Syrians, Iraqis and other Middle East minorities, but we should limit the quotas to the persecuted Christians and small numbers of oppressed minorities such as Yazidis, Kurds, Druze and Bedouins. We have to ensure that any immigrants are not potential radical Islamic terrorists or sympathizers, and they have to be directly encouraged to assimilate into U.S. society. Serious threats to the security of the U.S. and the Western world are increased due to infiltration of countries and attacks by radical Islamic terrorists.

Ahmed Mohamed is being heralded as “the most famous teenager on earth.”

14 year old Ahmed Mohamed brings in a briefcase full of beeping electronics into school and he is deemed a genius and a hero. Picture 10,000 Ahmed Mohamed's pulling the same stunt with a real briefcase bomb triggered from outside their school via cell phone.

Why does President Obama encourage such behavior? Why would President Obama take time out of his busy day to entertain this disruptive kid when he did not have time to deal with our dying men in Benghazi?  Will the President invite Josh Wolf of Elk River, Minnesota to come to the White House to show how he can make Bio Diesel out of Algae for about $1.30 a gallon? Our US Navy was spending $27 a gallon for virtually the same thing. Former Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann was informed about Josh years ago and never had him speak before congress. The media has used the Ahmed Mohamed incident as they did with Bruce Jenner to distract us from things that really matter, like a trade agreement which no one can legally divulge what is in it! A treaty which can be modified after it is passed. Do we know who even wrote this trade agreement? Do we know who wrote ObamaCare, another open ended law? The media continues to play the public like a Stradivarius violin!  And they love it!

Carly Fiorina unmasked as McCain, Hillary supporter

Honesty, reliability and conviction carry more weight than slick speaking skills

From SeeingRedAZ:

As GOP candidates surprisingly soar, others who were topping the polls just weeks ago suddenly plunge and abandon their campaigns as we witnessed Monday with the unexpected exit of Gov. Scott Walker and previously, Gov. Rick Perry. We are told that Dr. Ben Carson is irreversibly wounded for having the temerity to utter what most Americans believe. In a calm display of conviction, he didn’t back away from his words.

For too many Americans, the debates have become entertainment, not a measure of credibility or a means of evaluating positions on crucial issues. Those who have mastered the art of presentation, such as Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina, are thrust into the forefront via media hype, and apathetic citizenry passively accept the latest political flavor of the day.

Conservatives must not allow themselves to be lulled into trusting either Rubio or Fiorina. Both are skilled public speakers. And both have strong ties to the treacherous John McCain. Just two years ago, Rubio collaborated with McCain, Jeff Flake and a cabal of liberal Democrats as a member of the amnesty-pushing Gang of Eight. Like flagrantly opportunistic candidate McCain, who suddenly wanted to “complete the danged fence” in an effort to win votes, and Flake — who mastered the same deceptive campaign tactics — candidate Rubio has momentarily abandoned his pathway to citizenship position with the same goal in mind.

And Carly Fiorina, a onetime economic adviser to, and high dollar campaign bundler for, John McCain? Trusting Fiorina is risky business. Her newly acquired conservative stripes are painted on with water based pigment, guaranteed to run in the other direction if she wins.

Evict the squatters

Today in Washington, D.C., we have a Congress, President, Supreme Court, and a slew of administrative agencies acting as constitutional squatters. They are brazen trespassers, having taken up residence in jurisdictions that belong to the states—openly regulating businesses out of existence, dictating farming and conservation practices, bullying state and local education departments into accepting federal programs, and claiming power to mandate state recognition of marriages that defy the states’ constitutions. The feds have rudely pitched their tent on the front lawn of our liberty and on our Constitution, and it’s time we served them their eviction notice.

Just as landowners have the right and duty to invoke a legal process (eviction) to deal with squatters in property cases, the American people have the right and duty to invoke a particular constitutional process to restore the balance of power among the national government, the states, and the people. It’s found in Article V of the Constitution. Convention of States is the solution. Convention of States is the eviction process by which we evict the ruling elite from squatting on our Constitution.

Every student of American history knows that legitimate government depends upon the consent of the governed. The legal title to government is vested in us, and with it the right and duty to defend our title against trespassers.

Will you consider supporting the Constitution by helping us enact this eviction notice to the federal government?

A very generous donor has committed to matching every dollar raised in this campaign, so your donation today is matched dollar for dollar.

#PopeInUSA

In a world crying out for moral leadership, the Pope should speak less about his inane indignation that the climate is changing and more about abortion, homosexual marriage, persecution of Christians in the Middle East, and other real issues in our time. I'd like to see the Pope be the Church's representative to the world, not the world's representative to the Church!

The Pope's concern for the poor and the marginalized is completely appropriate, but his affinities for Cuban-style socialism, tyranny, and overregulation are not. Shouldn't the Pope instead value technological capitalism, the greatest mechanism of poverty alleviation the world has ever seen?

The Pope didn't completely capitulate to a progressive agenda during his visit, though. While in D.C., he stopped by to show his support for the nuns suing the government over Obamacare, perhaps a little payback for the transvestite ambush that Obama inflicted on him earlier. Liberals also aren't quite so pleased with him for canonizing missionary priest Junipero Serra who converted thousands of Native Americans.

Here's the bottom line: while we all fall short of God's perfect standards, progressives are distinguished from us by their insistence in calling what is wrong, right.

I'll be speaking more about the failures of the progressive ideology next month in Houston, and I hope you can join me! I'll be delivering the keynote at the Spirit Of Freedom Republican Women's PAC gala event. My fiancee, Debbie Fancher, will be singing "God Bless America" to open the event, and I'll be having dinner with the attendees. Hope to see you there! Tickets are on sale until October 12.
