Discovery Day is provided for children 8-14 who have an interest in wildlife! This day will encompass teaching children about various wildlife-related topics varying from identifying tracks and scat to using real wildlife biologist radio telemetry equipment. There will be some lecture-based presentations along with hands-on activities and ventures out into our wildlife sanctuary. Children will leave at the end of the day with a greater passion and understanding of our native Arizonan wildlife. Curriculum will vary depending on what is happening that day at our sanctuary. Children are welcome to come to both of the offered Discovery Day dates. Some activities will vary and some will repeat.

On Saturday, August 1, program time runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The donation is $50/child which goes directly towards the care of the animals at our center.

Remember, preregistration is required, as space will be limited!
