All things bike!
Join us from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, June 19, or from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Scottsdale’s Community Design Studio, 7506 E. Indian School Road, to talk all things bike. Share your ideas to help Scottsdale continue to be a safe, healthy, bike-friendly city. Scottsdale Transportation team members will present on the city’s bikeways network, Transportation Master Plan, education and enforcement activities, the Tourism Advisory Task force’s Bike Strategy, and gather your ideas on ways to improve cycling in Scottsdale. Attendees can enter a drawing to win several raffle prizes, and everyone will receive a reusable grocery bag. Scottsdale General Plan 2035 Work Study Session Date, Time Change
The Scottsdale General Plan 2035 work study session has been moved from Tuesday, June 9, to Tuesday, June 23. The work study session begins at 4 p.m. in the City Hall Kiva, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd. In addition, the Scottsdale Planning Commission will discuss the draft plan at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, in the City Hall Kiva. The June 23 work study session includes two other items in addition to the General Plan. Learn more about the draft General Plan 2035 and provide feedback.

Public invited to comment on Preserve’s Cultural Resources Master Plan
The public is invited to a meeting to provide feedback on the draft Cultural Resources Master Plan for the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Cultural resources include archaeological and historical sites, architecture, artifacts and landscape features. The meeting will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Florence Ely Nelson Desert Park, 8950 E. Pinnacle Peak Road. There will be a brief presentation at 6 p.m., followed by breakout sessions addressing various topics. When completed, the plan will guide decisions related to the interpretation, protection and management of resources. The draft plan will be posted on the city’s website Wednesday, June 24. Those who can’t attend the meeting can provide feedback online.

Free Sunday concert series continues at railroad park
Grab a blanket and dance beneath the stars. The free Summer Concert Series continues at Scottsdale’s McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, 7:30 to 9 p.m. Sundays through July 5. On Sunday, June 21 enjoy the Top 40/R&B sounds of The Real Thing. Check therailroadpark.com for more information.
