adam trenkCAVE CREEK – Back in October, Susan Clancy and Hani Saba, chair and treasurer, respectively, of Cave Creek Caring Citizens, the political action committee (PAC) which was successful in forcing a recall election against Vice Mayor Adam Trenk and his three fellow slate councilmen: Mike Durkin, Reg Monachino and Charles Spitzer, filed a complaint against Trenk with Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery.

TUSD expands noncompliance to African American curriculum

PHOENIX – On Jan. 2, as one of his last orders of business, outgoing Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal issued a Notice of Noncompliance to Tucson Unified School District Superintendent H.T. Sanchez pursuant to A.R.S. § 15-112 and the settlement agreement it reached in 2012.
