Blaine is home
Carefree’s veterans, council, citizens and CSHS students participated in a wonderful ceremony on Veteran’s day in the Carefree amphitheater. My friend, Blaine Keith read the Pledge of Allegiance to the audience. Carefree Councilman John Crane read a summary of Blaine’s career. Blaine has been mentioned in this newspaper countless times and is incredible. He has led an unbelievable life and is a national treasure.

Trenkster Recalled Council proud as Cave Creek suffers
This year’s Taste of Cave Creek by most reports was a sad shadow of its former self. Some observers noted that it should have been renamed the The “Drink” of Cave Creek , as it was light on food, devoid of art, afloat with booze, and filled with advertisements posing as booths.

All lawyered up
Our boy Trenk is all lawyered up and it’s sort of entertaining to count the ways. To begin with, he had to get lawyered up to even get on the ballot last year. He was not a resident of Cave Creek under the law, and probably still isn’t, but he hired a clever lawyer and a got friendly judge to determine that he “intended” to move back to Cave Creek and he got on the ballot. That’s one.
