Primary election voting information for Scottsdale residents

SCOTTSDALE – Scottsdale residents must be registered by Monday, July 28, to be qualified to vote in the Tuesday, Aug. 26, primary election. Voters will elect three council members.

Candidates must receive a majority of the legal votes cast to be elected outright at the primary. If not, the top two vote-getters for every open seat will advance to the Nov. 4 general election.
In-person early voting: In-person early voting in Scottsdale for the primary election will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, Thursday, July 31, through Friday, Aug. 22, at Scottsdale City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.

Election Day voting: Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Aug. 26. Registered voter households will receive the candidate information pamphlet before early voting begins Thursday, July 31. Your polling location will be indicated on the mailing label of that pamphlet.
