About the town

There is an old statement, "If it ain't broke don't fix it." That applies to "immigration reform." If the U.S. government were enforcing existing laws we wouldn't have a problem. Protect the border and send all illegals home.

Remove the toxic waste

I had time, so I attended the town council meeting on February 3. I knew most of the meeting would be dedicated to one item, Mr. Freeman against ALL of Cave Creek. With the recall election looming, the town council did the only thing they could have done, which is reject the proposed settlement. But that is why I am now writing.

Citizens stop Trenk-slate abuse of power

In two stunning packed house responses from the citizens of Cave Creek, the Slate Council (Trenk, Durkin, Spitzer, and Monachino) were forced to abandon their secret deal to pay back a political operative by agreeing to abandon our open space and trail system. Freeman (the operative) who is perhaps one of the most vocal and active enemies of our trail system had sued the town to stop the Morning Star Trail critical to the General Plan directive to connect the East and West sides of town. This secret plan to abandon the trail for Freeman was the most horrendous and arrogant attack on our General Plan, our trail system, and our rural way of life in the history of this town.

I was having breakfast last month at Mountain Quail Café with Quartzsite Mayor Ed Foster when someone handed us a copy of the Arizona Republic, containing an editorial entitled, “Cave Creek, don’t become the new Quartzsite.” We laughed out loud that the Republic’s Editorial Board had coined the phrase “gone Quartzsite” as a euphemism for what I usually refer to as municipal anarchy, and they even mentioned the mayor and me, if not by name.

2014: Last Chance to Save America

The United States is now facing an existential crisis due to executive tyranny, legislative malfeasance, judicial complicity and journalistic partisanship.

The Obama administration is corrupt, authoritarian and antithetical to the principles upon which the country was founded, and there are precious few in Congress, either party, who are willing to step forward and stop the violations of the Constitution.

Two outraged congressman?

Enough pontificating! If those quoted by the media are truly serious regarding Obama’s abuse of power and ending the unconstitutional behavior of this run-a-way administration, set forth below are indisputable facts that can reverse Obama-care and expose Congressional criminal activity.
