Cactus Shadows grad named director at nationwide nonprofit in DC
WASHINGTON, DC– The Colon Cancer Alliance is pleased to welcome Colleen Pyra to the ranks of its executive staff. A Cactus Shadows High School alumni and Arizona State University graduate, Pyra recently relocated to Washington, D.C. and took on the role as the organization’s Marketing and Communications Director.

Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship students swap out boots for sneakers
SCOTTSDALE – On Saturday, January 11 Team Camelot will run, walk and roll its way 3.1 miles in Arizona Disabled Sports’ 5th annual 5k around Tempe Town Lake to raise money for the Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship program.

PHOENIX – One of, if not the longest-running holiday stage show in Phoenix returns to Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) on December 6, 2013. A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail has entertained Valley audiences since 1995 and become a holiday tradition to many families.
