Learn more about those items lurking in your closets or storage units, or collecting dust on shelves! Leading Native art traders will examine personal treasures and offer information about materials, dates, artists and traditions at the Heard Museum Council American Indian Art & Artifacts Appraisal Day at Heard Museum North Scottsdale.

Who might be the next visitor to find that your old Navajo rug is worth a small fortune? Or learn that the 1850s-era deer skin dress that’s been in the family is now valued at $70,000, as one amazed owner learned during a past appraisal? It’s all part of the fun at this annual event sponsored by the Heard Museum Council.

WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Heard Museum North Scottsdale
32633 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale.

COST: $30 for the first item, $25 for the second, $20 for the third/subsequent
