HITH Studio 1 showcases artwork by 50 student artists
As part of its mission to mentor young artists, the Sonoran Arts League installs artwork from local students in grades K through 12 at Studio 1 during the Hidden In The Hills Tour. The 2013 YouthArt exhibition will be on view November 14 through December 3 at the Desert Foothills Library.
The public is invited to meet the young artists, as well as enjoy refreshments and musical entertainment, during the opening reception held November 19 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The 50 exhibiting student artists were selected from 100 entries in the Sonoran Arts Leagues’ juried Celebration of the Arts exhibit held at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center last spring. The original work was photographed by Bob Grebe and will be displayed as a printed reproduction.
