Illegal Immigrants Are Nationwide Problem

Bookmark and Share

Illegal immigrants are a nationwide problem, not one confined to a few states, according to a poll conducted by The Conservative Caucus (TCC).  A majority of 52 percent said that their own community had an illegal alien problem, against 12 percent who said they had no such problem.  Another 36 percent were undecided.

Those responding to the poll also indicated support for improved border security and a greater effort to deport illegal aliens, while opposing amnesty as part of any immigration reform bill. The poll was conducted by mail, with about 13,000 responses.

The Conservative Caucus is a grass roots public policy action organization, formed in 1974.  It was active in defeating the SALT II Treaty, repealing the Catastrophic Coverage Act, blocking the Clinton health-care takeover, impeaching President Clinton, and stopping amnesty for illegal aliens.
