Good Samaritan rescues family in distress

Bookmark and Share

CAVE CREEK – As a family pulled in to the Dairy Queen on Tuesday afternoon, the SeaDoo boat trailer they were towing lost its left wheel, stranding the boat half in the driveway and half in the westbound lane of Cave Creek Road.

Although they unhitched the trailer from their SUV, they were unable to move the trailer with one of its wheels missing.

Shortly after the incident, an ABF Trucking Company driver with a forklift on board saw the distressed boat trailer in the road, pulled over, unloaded his forklift and helped the family move the boat into the restaurant’s parking lot until help could arrive.
