According to CCMEA president Johnny Ringo, the organization, which promotes signature events in Cave Creek and markets the desert foothills area to residents and businesses, will donate monies to the 100 Club of Arizona, which provides funds for families of the fallen. The 100 Club already has provided $15,000 to each family of the Arizona firefighters who perished. However, the organization is in need of funds and like all Arizonans, Cave Creek wants to do all that it can to help the grief stricken families.

In addition to providing monies directly to the 100 Club, the CCMEA is partnering with Harold’s Corral and Frontier Town, which both sponsor Independence Day events on July 3 and 4, respectively, Rural Metro and Southwest Fireworks, to fund-raise monies for the families and to provide a special 19 firework salute to the fallen firefighters on the evening of July 3. Rural Metro will set up a booth at Harold’s to accept donations for the families as well.

“Cave Creek business owners and residents are deeply saddened by the extreme loss in Yarnell and Prescott, Ariz.,” says Ringo. “Our hearts go out to all of the families as we grieve together with them.”
