Jerry Sieve Photo Exhibition Celebrates Desert Foothills Land Trust Preserves
Over the last 18 months, photographer Jerry Sieve has been using traditional photography techniques to photograph Desert Foothills Land Trust preserves in order to highlight these unique natural lands. “The opportunity to utilize Jerry’s photographic skill to highlight the Land Trust’s conservation work is an unprecedented opportunity to reach a wide audience with a message of land conservation,” says Land Trust executive director Sonia Perillo.

Local breeds World Champion
The 2007 dun American Quarter Horse mare Little Costa Latte earned the world championship in youth cowboy mounted shooting pistols on March 2 at the American Quarter Horse Association Cowboy Mounted Shooting World Championship Show at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston. Little Costa Latte was bred by Annie Bianco-Ellett of Cave Creek, Arizona.

Miniature Horse Association of Arizona (AMHA) World Champion Miniature Horses preparing for Arizona Touch of Class Show
Miniature horses that have recently won AMHA World Championships will be getting preened and conditioned to be in tiptop shape for the upcoming 26th Annual Arizona Touch of Class Miniature Horse Show in March 2013. Marcia Sizemore of the Mini-Occasion Horse Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ, drove her Miniature Horse team, Jimo’s Queen of Hearts and Circle J Renegade Wind, to win two World Championship titles, the Multiple Hitch-Draft Harness class and the Antique Vehicle class at the 2012 AMHA World Show in Texas.
