phoenix symphonyThrough the extra-ordinary generosity of an anonymous donor, The Phoenix Symphony launches Music Education Match Campaign to benefit its Education and Community Outreach Programs.

The matching challenge creates a wonderful opportunity for donors to double their support and double the impact of their gift.

"Our Education and Community Outreach Programs strengthen our community, resulting in a creative workforce and high quality music experiences both on and beyond the stage," said Phoenix Symphony President & CEO Jim Ward. "We are honored that this donor values our work in the community and is supporting us in this way."

The education programs offered by The Phoenix Symphony are a key part of this commitment. Most are offered free or at a subsidized rate.

Each year, The Phoenix Symphony impacts 65,000 youth in 290 schools in 35 cities statewide through our K-12 school programs, 18,000 senior citizens through adult learning programs and 22,000 parents and children through fun-filled Saturday afternoon Family concerts. Following are some of The Phoenix Symphony's numerous Education and Community Outreach Programs: Symphony for the Schools, Classroom Concerts, B-Sharp Music Wellness, Mind Over Music.

By supporting the Music Education Match and helping The Phoenix Symphony reach its $50,000 goal, donors will ensure that The Phoenix Symphony can continue to impact thousands of lives through music every year.
