Cave Creek council election

Although we plan to print a series of comments by Carefree candidates, we still, after repeated requests, have not received input from Mayor David Schwan and Councilmen Glenn Miller and Marty Salzman. We will print the ones we received and suggest you take that into account in this election.

The Twisted Truth on Obama's Benghazi Response

According to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, as reported at The Weekly Standard, President Obama was completely aloof from the events in Libya on September 11.  He neither asked nor ordered anything.  He did not respond to information sent to the White House.  He was not involved at all, during the seven-plus-hour attack that resulted in the deaths of four American government employees, including an ambassador.

Has Facebook joined the Leftist Media?

The advent of 'social media' has been heralded as a new, unbiased forum where ideology, politics and opinions are able to compete on a level playing field. From talk radio to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace, these forums are generally assumed to reflect the true voice of their subscribers - untainted by the liberal bias of the 'old' media. There is a chance this is now changing.
