CAVE CREEK – Wild West Days, Arizona’s largest western venue and a Cave Creek signature event, will be held from November 2-4, 2012 throughout the Town of Cave Creek. This year, the venue will feature a period costume contest for adults on Saturday, November 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The competition, which will be judged by costume experts from Tombstone, Ariz., will be held on the main stage, which will be located on the west lot of Frontier Town, 6245 E. Cave Creek Road on the west end of Cave Creek. On Sunday, November 4, a costume contest for kids will be held at 12 p.m. in the same location. Children do not have to wear western or period correct costumes, but rather can don any type of costume they prefer.

The venue is filled with non-stop family entertainment, mutton bustin’, music, period vendors, a western parade and the Walk for 100, bathtub races and various horse-related activities and other festivities that have made Wild West Days a renowned annual western experience.
