Ill and barely able to speak, Cave Creek Attorney Lianne Sefcovic thanked council for considering her application. Councilman Steve LaMar’s motion to appoint Sefcovic as town magistrate for a term through June 30, 2013 carried unanimously.

Councilman Jim Bruce, who seconded the motion, said he was impressed with the field of highly qualified candidates that applied for the post. Carefree Attorney Tom Rawles, who also applied, thanked council and said he enjoyed the interviews and the process.
