Piggies to race during Wild West Days

Mutton Bustin’ returns by popular demand

wild west days pig racesCAVE CREEK – A nationally renowned group of celebrity piglets will make their way to Cave Creek for Arizona’s largest western event, Wild West Days. The piglets will run around a track on Saturday, November 5 at 12 p.m. at Harold’s Corral in downtown Cave Creek.

Visitors can bet on their favorites, such as Flossie Beckham, Paddy O’ Piglet and Steeler Squealer, at the betting booth and track while enjoying music and other western fun.

And you won’t want to miss one of the most popular events of the entire weekend, the Mutton Bustin’ competition, which provides wagons full of hilarity as the young ‘uns try to stay on the backs of sheep – Saturday, November 5 at 11 a.m. at TC’s Arena on Cave Creek Rd. across from Harold’s.  Mutton Bustin’ Finals are set for Sunday, November 6 from 12:45 – 2 p.m.

Cost: $5 per child, payable (cash/check) to Wild West Days/ Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce.
