This year's Regional Teen Art Competition theme takes liberties from Rembrandt's "Artist in His Studio", a self-portrait of Rembrandt painted in 1628.

Starting from the bright color of the floor; our eyes move from the frame of the painting to the artist.  The relative sizes of the painting and Rembrandt's figure radiate one message, as most of the paintings done by the master artists do: The message ... art is always bigger than the artist.
