Tea Party

While I appreciate the coverage about the Tea Party, there was much that was missed in the article.

Some of the most important revelations concerning what is being taught in our schools, as relayed to the audience by CCUSD high school student and Tea Party speaker, Brett Hoeppner were as follows:

Their History teacher told them that "Socialism is not really so bad."

Their English teacher made them watch an Obama speech citing the reason that it is an example of excellent public speaking.

They were also made to watch Al Gore's, "An Inconvenient Truth."

Brett also informed us that he is not "buying any of it" and highly resented the teacher's methods of "gradual indoctrination" versus truly teaching something. Good for you Brett you are wise beyond your years.

Please do all that you can to help awaken any of your classmates who are politically apathetic. At this time, probably more so than any other in your young lives, is it vitally important to become aware, concerned, educated, and involved in the political drama that is unfolding before us today. To use the "anointed one's" common line, "make no mistake," our Democratic Republic is under siege from the radical left extremists that are hell-bent on attempting to make good on their promise to fundamentally change America. The frightening thing is that for the moment they are winning. You and all your young friends are a huge voting block and MUST HELP TO STOP the political machine of filthy corrupt Chicago-style politics that have infiltrated the most scared house of our Government, as well as many others at the State levels.

To go back to the sounds of reason from my era, when I was your age, I defer to the wonderful poetry and music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in their song, "For What It's Worth":

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I've got to beware
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going down.
What a field day for the heat
A thousand people in the streets
They're singing songs and they're carrying signs Mostly say, "Hooray for our side"
AND from their song, "Long Time Comin":
Speak out, you must speak out against the madness
You've got to speak your mind, if you dare.
But don't, no, don't, no, try to get yourself elected
If you do, you had better cut your hair.

I wish to personally thank you for attending and speaking at the Tea Party; you gave me some renewed hope in your generation; our future leaders. Stay strong, be brave and keep "a good clear eye on the dirty ways of the world"... which is a phrase borrowed from another past hero of my generation; Bruce Springsteen. (Unfortunately I see that he has lost his way, and supported Obama). Nonetheless, if you want to see something truly inspiring, please go to YouTube and enter "Bruce Springsteen tribute to Harry Chapin" and watch the entire clip. I promise you, the message that he imparts to us all in this clip will send chills up your neck. So get out there and "DO Something."

Patriotically Yours,

Your editorial about me

I read your March 24 editorial; thanks for the plaudits of some of my halycon years. Never thought they were ideal but certainly happy ones. Also never imagined 44,000 people would be reading in their weekly newspaper the saga of RAG.

Do you have contact info for Alex Hamer? I enjoyed the article and thanks for what to me have always been very pleasant memories. Of course I sent copies to my 3 children.
Happy Easter to you and Shari Jo. You do know why they paint Easter Eggs don't you? Would you like to try wallpapering them?

The New America

A guy damages a front fender in an auto accident. A year later he buys an auto insurance policy. Shortly thereafter he gets tail-ended, damaging a rear fender. He complains to Obama that the evil insurance company would not replace both his rear and front fenders, pointing out the front fender was a pre-existing condition and not covered by his policy.

Obama issues an executive order mandating that all auto insurance companies must pay for pre-existing conditions and that they must not raise their premiums to cover their additional costs. Since the insurance companies make only 4 percent profit, they can’t pay for all of those pre-existing damaged fenders so they go out of business. Obama then writes another executive order that puts the federal government in the auto insurance business. The government then hires hundreds of thousands of new union workers and raises taxes to subsidize the repair of all of those damaged fenders. Note that congress was not involved.

No need, now that Obama has shown that he can issue an executive order that over-rides any law congress ever passed. Welcome to SDA, the new Socialized Dictatorship of America.

Shameful Treatment of Israel

Dear Rep. Kirkpatrick, Senator John McCain and Senator Jon Kyl

We are very concerned that President Obama has chosen to pressure Israel for her granting of building permits to build residences in that area of Jerusalem referred to as 'East Jerusalem.'

Israel has every right to allow the building of these dwellings. After all, Israel has stated on numerous occasions that the city should, and shall, remain its undivided Capitol. The United States has agreed under past administrations to this concept. The Jewish presence in Jerusalem goes back to biblical times and both Christians, Muslims as well as Jews have been allowed to live there, in peace, since the 1967, (defensive), war under Israeli.
Please use your good offices to speak out against this blatantly unfair singling out of our friend, Israel, by the Office of the President.

Ranching Community Suffers Senseless Loss

The thoughts and prayers of the Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association are with the family of Sue and Rob Krentz. Rob’s tragic death truly leaves a hole in the community and his family. Everyone in Arizona’s ranching community is saddened to hear of this tragedy.

Rob Krentz was a caretaker – he cared for his family, he cared for the land and he cared for the animals he and his family raised on the Krentz Ranch. These traits have been passed down through the Krentz family from one generation to the next. This is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Sue and their children.

Rob Krentz and his family have been long time members of the association and have always been willing to help those in need. The Krentz family has been stewards of the land for over 100 years constantly adapting to the changing environment. The ranching community will certainly miss cattleman Rob Krentz.

Rob and his dog were found shot to death early Sunday morning after he left on his four-wheeler Saturday to check fence on his ranch. While reports of this tragedy and investigation advance the ACGA is prepared to assist in gathering facts about the incident with the offer of a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals involved in the tragic shooting of Rob Krentz.

With the help of the McGibbon Family a Robert Krentz Memorial Fund has been established at Wells Fargo Bank. Anyone that would like to donate to this fund can do so at any Wells Fargo Bank, Account Number 5560960899.

ACGA has received an overwhelming amount of correspondence expressing condolences and we would like to thank all of those people for their thoughts and prayers. It is important that we all continue to focus on the Krentz Family in this time of need.

Heard on the Street about the Federal Reserve

Dear Peter Eavis:

You praised the Fed today in the Journal's Heard on the Street column and wrote that "the Fed hasn't allowed a serious inflation break-out since the 1970s."

Here's what you failed to mention: In 1978, Congress explicitly ordered the Fed to maintain stable prices with its monetary policies. (It also gave the Fed the contradictory directive to maintain full employment.) Since then, the dollar has lost 70 percent of its purchasing power.

Doesn't seem praiseworthy to me.

Israel

The current administration, in their usual suspension of reality and facts, is ready to sacrifice Israel on the altar of Arab appeasement and accommodation. Unfortunately, as the Arabs have proven multiple times since 1948, it is not about land; but rather Islamic ideology. He tenets of Islam cannot cede any territory ever previously conquered in the name of allah (Dar-al-Islam).As a result, whenever the Arabs obtain land from Israel, they use it as a base for further terroristic attacks on civilians until the "Jews are pushed into the sea." To Obama, truth and facts can be discarded and replaced with "feel-good" mandates of level-egalitarianism and moral equivalence. As Winston Churchill commented when democratic Czechoslovakia was sacrificed to Hitler in the name of peace, "we are near the bleak choice of shame and war, we shall choose shame, and then have war thrown in a little later."

Israel friendship with U.S.

Israel is a Sovereign nation – a friend of the U.S. We Should NOT be interfering with Her Internal Affairs. Jerusalem is the Sovereign Capital of Israel, Not a "settlement."

Turning on Israel will not be the end of them, but may be the end of the U.S.

Respect Israel

Israel has the best record safeguarding holy places for other religions. On the contrary holy sites in Muslim grounds have and continue to be desecrated while no one protests.

Over the years Israel has made so many compromises that they are hard to count. Each has been rejected because it's easier to maintain the Palestinians as they are, in order to have a unifying cause for the "Arab street," maintain peace in its own dictatorship and deflect criticism against their own governments hatred of the Jews.

Israel

I have always believed that Israel is our partner in the fight against terrorism and is our most important ally.

It is so difficult to realize this administration acts as they do toward our best ally.

Our support of Israel

It is urgent and necessary that we in Arizona stand up for the country of Israel. First off, it is commanded by God – and who wants to go against God? Secondly Israel is our only friend in the world. Just this morning Britain issued a statement that shows they no longer feel they have a close relationship with the USA. We need all the help we can get and Israel needs all the help they can get.

Palin Targets Rep. Kirpatrick, Rep. Michell and Rep. Giffords!

Palin Reveals Democratic Targets for Midterms
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced a list Tuesday of Democratic members of Congress she intends to target for defeat this year, according to Politico. Her strategy is simple. She said on her Facebook page that she'll go after lawmakers who voted for healthcare reform and hail from districts she and Arizona Sen. John McCain won in the 2008 presidential election.  Special: Do You Back Obama's Healthcare Plan?

Vote Here Now! That means 48 Democrats are in her sights.  "With the president signing this unwanted and 'transformative' government takeover of our health care system today with promises impossible to keep, let's not get discouraged," Palin wrote in a post on her Facebook wall, urging supporters not to "get demoralized." "We're going to hold them accountable for this disastrous Obamacare vote," she continued, according to Politico. The unlucky Democrats:

Ann Kirkpatrick (Ariz.)
Harry Mitchell (Ariz.)
Gabrielle Giffords (Ariz.)
John Salazar (Colo.)
Betsy Markey (Colo.)
Allen Boyd (Fla.)
Suzanne M. Kosmas (Fla.)
Baron P. Hill (Ind.)
Earl Pomeroy (N.D.)
Charlie Wilson (Ohio)
John Boccieri (Ohio)
Kathy Dahlkemper (Pa.)
Christopher Carney (Pa.)
John M. Spratt, Jr. (S.C.)
Tom Perriello (Va.)
Alan B. Mollohan (W.Va.)
Nick J. Rahall II (W.Va.).

"We'll aim for these races and many others," she wrote. "This is just the first salvo in a fight to elect people across the nation who will bring common sense to Washington."

Makes one feel like puking

A few remaining fans of “St. Albert (Gore) and the Dragon Busters” might recall the dire forecast of climate change endangering the world. This collection of con-artists has now been caught red-handed with faked statistics, tunneling under Fort Knox. They had already broken through the Cap-and-Trade. We may not be hearing as much from these potential jail-birds as the full extent of their thievery is coming to light. Compared to these miscreants and their “Consensus of Climate Scientists,” Nadoff and Stanford are purse-snatchers.
The new main attraction is Government Health Care, predictably advertised as so urgent the Bill had to be passed or 80 million uninsured and illegals will be denied free health care. Sure to follow will be the end of the U.S. as we know it, and a stick of gum made in China will cost $2.

We have seen the White House and Washington D.C. turned into a giant crime scene with tax-dodging cabinet appointees, Tsars, the Constitution-Shredders and the likes of Dodd, Frank, Geither, Holder, Rangel and ACORN alumni.

Only real loonies could swallow the pitch that money could be saved by politicians extorting campaign money and offshore assets by hijacking doctors and health care.

Look for the ads: “Coming soon to a theatre near you – the musical smash hit “AliBama and the Forty Thieves” – music perhaps by Andrew Lloyd Webber; song titles “But He’s the Smartest,” He Means So well,” and starring Arnold himself singing “Don’t Cry For Me California.”

Makes on feel like puking.
