Business to Business | November 25 – December 1, 2009

Bella Vista Private School was recently chosen as one of only three high schools to participate in the Early College program provided by Paradise Valley Community College. “This is one more great step for our recently opened high school!” says Principal Lisa Artenian. Bella Vista added the high school in 2009. “This has been a busy year,” says Artenian. “In addition to the early college program we began to compete in Division One high school athletics this year as well!” Early College is not a dual enrollment program. The program allows students to earn up to thirty five college credits and be awarded the Arizona General Curriculum Certificate (AGEC). This certificate transfers as a block without any loss of credit, and students are automatically accepted at the three state universities. Students completing Early College need only twenty five to twenty nine more credits for an Associate’s Degree which transfers to colleges and universities across the country. Early College is co-sponsored by Paradise Valley Junior College and Bella Vista Private School and is open to students in their Junior and Senior years. Entrance to the program is selective. Interested parents should contact Bella Vista Private School directly at 480-575-6001 or by e-mail to [email protected].
