Tennis Tournament and Art Auction

CAREFREE – For those of you who know Jennifer Campbell and Conrad Hudgens (Conrad's Leather and Imagine Gallery in el Pedregal) and those who may not – these are two people that have supported the Arts in the Cave Creek/Carefree area for over 25 years. They were some of the original founders of the Cave Creek Craft Council – which eventually became the Sonoran Arts League – in Cave Creek and have been significant financial supporters of SAL, as well as supporting many SAL members in their retail business.

Tragically, Jennifer was diagnosed with bone and lung cancer after playing tennis last spring and is now going through Chemo and Radiation therapies.

Her family and friends are organizing a tennis event on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Carefree Resort Tennis Club – anyone can play! Additionally, a Silent Auction will be held during the event. All proceeds will go to the Lung Cancer Alliance in support of Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

The Tennis Tournament will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Silent Auction will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. To participate in the tennis event call Ron or Jackie at The Tennis Club, 480-488-7106 or e-mail [email protected]. For the Silent Auction or to volunteer call Chris Williams at 480-488 3210 or e-mail [email protected].
