“The Carefree Mayor and Town Council are trying to pull the wool over our eyes. The proposed property tax will free up all the funds currently used for funding Rural Metro and make these funds available for the Mayor and Councils use.
It is all well and good to say the proposed Property Tax will only go for fire and emergency services. But by a sleight of hand the real beneficiaries will be the various currently underfunded projects, staffing increases and monies for paying off debts.
Reject this tomfoolery, vote NO thus forcing fiscal restraint to be better managed by the Carefree Mayor and Council”
