In Carefree’s attempt to scare residents into voting for a $2M property tax, they base their argument on the assurance that moving our Rural Metro fire and EMS services over to Phoenix Automatic Aid will REDUCE RESPONSE TIMES. So what are the response times for our neighboring Automatic Aid members? Phoenix avg response time is 9 minutes!
Scottsdale avg response time is 7 minutes! Daisy Mountain refuses to disclose their avg response time. Carefree’s Rural Metro response time is 4 minutes! The NFPA standard is 5 minutes 20 seconds. Does anyone truly believe that Carefree’s response times will go down with Automatic Aid? Carefree government has been exposed! Someone did not do their homework. Reducing response time with Automatic Aid is a provable lie!
