The Cave Creek schools have a record of excellence. Graduates have gone on to some of the finest universities in the country. But college isn’t the best choice for everyone. For those who aspire to military service (or, in fact, any leadership career) the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program can jump start a successful career. In fact, many of our surrounding school districts have a high school JROTC program.
Patriotism and community service are also integral parts of JROTC.
So why doesn’t Cave Creek have JROTC? The fact is that financial support for the State of Arizona does not provide enough funding to support programs such as JROTC. That’s why passing the override (on your mail-in ballot) is so important.
