I want to voice my support for Carefree Vice Mayor John Crane as the next mayor of Carefree. There are many reasons why John is qualified for this position but the one I want to focus on is the tremendous responsiveness that he has shown to Carefree residents. Whenever he is asked to help by a Carefree resident with a problem, he can always be counted on to investigate the situation and solve the problem. There are many example but here are a couple that come mind.
I remember the spouse and caregiver of a veteran with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s was concerned that her driveway might be blocked by cars at a big event at Civana. She said she might have to get him to the emergency room at any time. John made sure that the orange conical markers were put at the end of her driveway.
Another one that I personally experienced recently was when I noticed that the street sign on the corner of Tom Darlington and Stagecoach was missing. I contacted John and a new sign was up within a week.
For this and many other reasons, I am going to vote for John Crane for mayor in the August 2 election.
