Mayor Ernie Bunch (second from left) celebrated with representatives from Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 15. The hospital, scheduled to officially open in the next few weeks, will offer 24/7 emergency care and surgical services.
The single-story, 35,000 sq. ft building on Carefree Highway has a 13-bed emergency department, an operating room, eight inpatient rooms for overnight stays, an imaging suite for x-ray, ultrasound and CT scans, a laboratory and other services. The hospital will create about 50 full-time clinical and support staff jobs (now hiring). Welcome to our community, Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital!
