Cave Creek residents “enjoy open space and primarily a low-density lifestyle.” Allowing 5 large animals to reside on one acre or 25 large animals on five acres is not compatible with low density lifestyle.
The town reports “proper management of current and future water supplies.” Watering and maintenance of 25 large animals on five acres using well water, which is used be many land owners, during a drought puts a strain on our well water in the rural area of Cave Creek.
Cave Creekers who love to chat about “wild running washes and Javalinas who fuss with our yards” should be a concern to all of us as these animals are attempting rto survive the fires and the ranches moving into the area with large amounts of animals with “excessive clearing of land — it all sounds good but in reality this is destroying Rural Cave Creek.
