Dear Editor,
The Town of Cave Creek, which in their front page, October 7, 2021 Sonoran News article, sought to justify a water rate increase, missed the main reason for why our water rates have been sky high and now will be even higher. The Town paid an outrageously high purchase price for the run down and poorly maintained privately held Cave Creek Water Company, and that debt overhang still affects our water bills. It seems that the town thinks that everyone has forgotten that fiasco.
