Scottsdale reptile sanctuary to adopt out surrendered animals at local PetSmart stores

COST: $10 per turtle adoption fee; some PetSmart locations may have snakes, lizards or tortoises with higher adoption fees.

Adopt a reptile or come to learn about these amazing animals.

Animals will be available for adoption, along with the necessary information to keep them properly. The partnership between Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary (PHS) and PetSmart allows for an extension of PHS’ adoption program to reach new families willing to adopt these animals.

Proceeds from the event will help support PHS’ mission of “Conservation through Education.” The sanctuary is home to hundreds of native and exotic reptiles, many of them endangered and participants in captive breeding programs.
