I suspect most town residents agree with your comments regarding the cross walk vehicle obstacles and countless signs.
Visitors would probably agree since many are obviously confused by the white stakes and profusion of signs. Unfortunately, the situation is likely to get worse. The Sonoran News noted the town recently received a $40,000.00 grant to study pedestrian safety and make recommendations for traffic warning devices, regulatory signs, signage, etc.
Does anyone really think out-of-town consultants will recommend removing what the town has already installed? Odds are, we will get even more signs and regret the day we were given a “free” $40,000.00 grant.
