Pancake breakfast a “flippin’” success!

CAVE CREEK Kiwanis president, Mike Poppenwimer, excitedly reported that the Pancake Breakfast held at the Carefree Amphitheater on November 9th was a huge “flippin'” success with 593 people attending and enjoying the pancakes, sausages, orange juice, and coffee.  All being served up by the Kiwanis team making sure all diners got their fill of the delicious pancakes.  The event was supported by several of the Kiwanis Youth Groups like the Key Club, the Builders Club, the Kids Club, and the Aktion Club.  In addition, there was the Adventure Scouts, the Cactus Shadows wrestling team.  Plus, the Veteran Heritage Students were selling plants.  In all there were 55 youths and 31 Kiwanis members.

The Kiwanis Club has been doing these Pancake Breakfasts for over 30 years with all profits being used to support the projects in the local area. We want to thank the community for their attendance and support and hope you will please mark it down on your calendar for the next Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast Event to be held on April 4th at the Carefree Amphitheater.
