Cave Creek Town Council

Nothing to see here

The regular meeting of the Cave Creek Town Council on Oct.21 was apparently just a precursor to a take action date set for Nov. 13. At issue were 6 items on the general agenda related to ongoing decisions about signage. The town attorney strongly advised the council to deliberate in executive session and set a date far enough ahead to allow for public input. Once again, it was noted that both the Institute for Justice and the Goldwater Institute were set for pending litigation.
Noteworthy:

  • The regular meeting for Nov. 4 was canceled in lieu of a “Strategic Plan Retreat” for the day. No action was planned.
  • January was proclaimed “Speak up, stand up, save a life” month.

(Editor’s note: at presstime, there is a planned agenda to specifically address approval of a special event application for “Hidden in the Hills.” Any significant results will be posted online.)
