Daisy Mountain Fire celebrating 30-Year Anniversary with open house

Join Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10am to 2pm to celebrate their 30-Year Anniversary with an Open House. Visit Fire Station 142, at 41104 N Daisy Mountain Dr, AZ 85086 on this special day to celebrate and reminisce about how far we’ve come and how things have changed over the last 30 years. Take time for a fire station tour and an up close look at some of our fire trucks. This is a free, family friendly event.

Daisy Mountain Fire District was formed in 1989 to serve the residents of New River and Desert Hills. In 2003 the district grew to include the unincorporated community of Anthem and again in 2017 to include Black Canyon City. Today, Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical spans two counties, and protects a population of about 55,000 residents under the direction of Fire Chief Mark Nichols. The district covers approximately 210 square miles and is served by five fire stations and 118 employees. This includes a dangerous 35 mile long stretch of I-17 from about Carefree Highway to north of Sunset Point.
