Cave Creek Town Council – Oct. 7

Taking the General Plan to the public was the featured subject at the regular meeting of the Cave Creek Town Council. Referred to as “P.I.P.” (Public Involvement Process), a representative of town consultant Michael Baker International emphasized that facilitating the public’s input on the General Plan by being interactive was the main goal, citing social media, a website, polls and press releases as examples as to how to achieve the desired results. A motion to approve was carried unanimously.

In other business:

– Cooperative filings between the Town of Cave Creek and Maricopa County to partially sever and transfer water rights for the benefit of the Spur Cross Conservation Area was approved unanimously.

– A professional service contract with Engineering Mapping Solutions (EMS) for $34,250.00 for the GIS Integration with Record Drawings Project was approved unanimously.
