On April 6, Hope4Kids International and Water4Kids International will be sponsoring an event to raise awareness and funds for clean water in Uganda.
“We will be walking approx. 2 miles to simulate how far women and children in Ugandan villages walk several times a day to get water, which is dirty and ridden with disease. Our hope is that, through this fundraising event, we will be able to construct two deep water wells in villages that have no access to clean water. Dirty water is the #1 killer in Uganda. By giving a few hours of your time and inviting friends and family to sponsor you, thousands of men, women and children in Uganda will have clean, safe water for the first time in their lives.”
