Dear Editor,

I am glad that Gov. Ducey announced that he’d chosen Cong. Martha McSally to fill the seat in the Senate left by the death of Sen. McCain.  We need someone in the Senate that is well-versed in what we need to do to keep our military the best.  Arizona is home to the F-35 and many other critical components of our military future, and I know she will fight to protect them.  She will serve the remaining two years of that term with the same values and convictions of Sen. McCain.  We should all be content to have a stalwart veteran sitting in that Senate seat and we’ll have two years to judge her before the next election.  I do appreciate Gov. Ducey’s sound choice.

Thank you and God Bless America,

John E. Cordier
