Dear CCUSD Community,
Thank you for your strong support of the November 6th ballot initiative that will allow CCUSD and Cactus Shadows High School to join the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) to provide career and technical courses for our high school juniors and seniors. So many of you helped in this effort: You wrote pro-statements and letters to the editors, you sent out social media posts, explained the benefits to your friends and colleagues, put signs in your car windows and front yards, and, most of all, you voted YES!
We will be surveying our secondary students again for their interests in EVIT courses to eventually be provided at the CTED Center at the former Desert Arroyo Middle School. Our 2019-2020 juniors and seniors are looking forward to enrolling in additional EVIT courses in the next school year. Thank you for supporting this effort for all students in the CCUSD boundaries.
