Tweeting

Spending an evening with a dear friend recently brought on a discussion of “tweeting” and its adverse effect on society. My friend went further to place the blame for this particularly distasteful and potentially harmful technology on Trump. That my friends political leanings differ from mine is obvious as the Democrat mantra is to blame Trump for everything – positive or negative.
Give Trump credit when credit is due. Hasn’t he been tough (opposite to soft, sentimental) on immigration, sanctuary cities, on foreign countries in NATO not paying their fair share, on countries holding Americans hostage on false charges bringing home 19 of these people. Hasn’t he reorganized NAFTA, the Veterans Administration, cut taxes, boosted the employment rate, met with leaders of minority populations and created jobs for them, smoothed American relationships with North Korea, as well as reinforcing U.S.- Israeli relationship, rebuilt the nation’s military, destroyed ISIS, issued an order enforcing First Amendment protections for religious liberty ( does that sound like an Islamaphobic?), restored the freedom of military chaplains to espouse biblical morality, and essentially reversing Mr. Obama’s transgender military policy, appointed two upstanding judges to the Supreme Court, presided over an economic boom, brought back manufacturing jobs from overseas. etc., etc. etc.

Yes I find some of the President’s verbiage in his tweets obtuse and I would prefer his past to be less flamboyant. Would I rather have a slick, more polished president who prefers Socialism to a Republic, who supports open borders and illegal immigration, appointment of radical judges, would raise taxes and fund abortion? My answer is NO. if you agree on these important issues get out and make your vote count.
