I have lived in Cave Creek for ten years. In that time I have noted many of my neighbors flying the American Flag. It bothers me and probably other veterans/mil retirees as well that some of those flags are torn, tattered and faded. The flag manuals of every service direct that a flag that becomes tattered or faded be properly disposed of and a replacement is to be mounted and flown.
Everyone that is flying a flag needs to examine it and replace it if needed so that as it flys it proudly represents the ideals of this country.
