A night at the Sinema

The primary vote count chooses Martha McSally as the Republican challenger for political chameleon Krysten Sinema, both seeking the Senate seat being vacated by Trump hater Jeff Flake. Sinema, a formidable opponent and an excellent campaigner in the time tested Democrat formula of, tell ’em what they want to hear then do as the party bosses demand, (which, generally speaking is just the opposite). She also is fortified by a treasure chest of campaign funds from out of state sources (do I smell George Sorros here?).

McSally by all accounts is a strong candidate, but her Republican handlers need to awaken to some harsh realities, not the least of which is that Sinema has an impressive head start on the issue of health care. A subject not to be overlooked with an aging population that traditionally votes. Sinema with her beguiling smile, soft spoken false sincerity, colorful tight dresses and tripe about her political independence, is winning willfully ignorant followers tired of crushing health care expenses.

McSally’s military record and stance on border security weigh strongly in her favor; if she can add health care, support of the Trump agenda and the same venom she employed with primary opponent Kelli Ward to her arsenal, maybe we will not face general election results as a night at the Sinema.
