The Town of Carefree announces that Gina Kaegi, Town Marketing Director will be
leaving Town Hall to join a technology company which specializes in the real estate industry. “The Town shares in her excitement as she transitions into this next stage of her career but we will miss her tireless dedication to the Carefree community as well as her creativity, infectious positive attitude and energy.”
Kaegi became the Town’s first Marketing Director 3.5 years ago. Through her tireless efforts, she built the Pumpkin Festival into one of the most unique events within the northeast valley. The Pumpkin Festival resulted in both national and international exposure for the Town as well as being listed by Phoenix Magazine as one of the top fall festivals within the state.
She helped cultivate the Town’s image and was instrumental in economic development efforts by demonstrating that Carefree is a desirable place to do business.
Kaegi’s last day will be on Wednesday, June 27th.
