Rescue hoping to recruit foster families for underage animals

SCOTTSDALE – Foothills Animal Rescue is preparing for puppy and kitten season, so the nonprofit agency is hosting a “baby” shower at its north Scottsdale shelter. The goal of the shower is recruit volunteer foster families to help care for very young puppies and kittens until they are big enough to come back to the shelter and be placed up for adoption. There will be experienced foster families on-hand to answer any questions that potential foster volunteers may have about caring for underage pets. Additionally, the shelter will be accepting donations of supplies to help care for puppies and kittens.
