Soar across the Grand Canyon

You’ve heard of hiking tours, walking tours and even helicopter tours through the Grand Canyon. But how about ziplining?

The Zipline at Grand Canyon West is located at the Hualapai Ranch in the Grand Canyon National Park near the Skywalk. Visitors are now able to soar over the side of a sprawling canyon going nearly 50 MPH and suspended 1,000 feet in the air. Those who are brave enough to embark on the adventure are strapped into the full zipline gear which is made up of two “quad ziplines,” allowing groups to soar through the Grand Canyon together.

Comprised of four steel cables that run parallel to each other, there are two lines that make up the zipline. The first measures in at around 1,100 feet, while the second is double that, measuring 2,100 feet. The longer line also has a steeper grade, so visitors are launched through the canyon with breathtaking views of the Quartermaster Canyon and the spectacular scenery all around.

Those who want to visit the Zipline at Grand Canyon West should be aware that tickets can only be purchased online and their hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.
