New license plates offered to Arizona residents

Arizona drivers have a new way to show their appreciation for favorite local establishments, thanks to ServiceArizona.com’s recent additions. Three new styles of license plates were just released, and their proceeds will benefit charitable organizations. These specialty plates are $25, and nearly 70% of the cost is funneled to the charity.

Luke Air Force Base, located in Arizona’s Maricopa County, trains F-16 and F-35 pilots. They also assist in protecting the Barry M. Goldwater Range East, home of many endangered species. Their license plate features an F-35 and proceeds will support Fight County Foundation which helps the Luke Airmen’s families, among other initiatives.

Phoenix is home to the Arizona Science Center which educates visitors on the wonders and uses of science. Dorrance Planetarium is housed there, along with numerous exhibits. The sale of this flashy green plate will provide field trip opportunities for local schools.

Barrett-Jackson is known far and wide for its luxury car auctions, ties to celebrities, and for supporting charities. They teamed up with the American Heart Association last week to start a new campaign called, “Driven Hearts” and hope to raise both funds and awareness about heart disease. The black plate features Barrett-Jackson’s famous red racing stripes.
