2018 is just around the corner and if you are planning to ring in the new year in the Valley of the Sun, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. Check out some of these events if you’re looking for a fun way to ring in the new year.
Phoenix Symphony New Year’s Eve Concert
Phoenix Symphony will perform the famous Strauss waltzes, seasonal classics, and Broadway and contemporary favorites all with a complimentary glass of Champagne to celebrate the New Year. Performances of “A New Year’s Celebration” take place at the Symphony Hall Downtown Phoenix
Confetti Ball at Hotel Valley Ho
An upscale Gala that features a four-hour reception, hors-d’oeuvres, midnight Champagne toast, party hats and favors, and a confetti drop at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. Table reservations that include two premium bottles, reserved seating, and a cocktail server are available for a premium price with advanced booking.
Raven’s All That Glitters New Year’s Eve Gala
The Talking Stick Resort Showroom in Scottsdale offers two full bars, cocktail specials, a buffet, and entertainment by DJ Kilo and the in-house band SMASHED, which will perform both classic and current favorites. The event features party favors, complimentary Champagne toast, and balloon drop at midnight. Semi-formal to black tie attire required, and attendees must be 21 and over.
New Year’s Eve at jade bar
The fun begins at 8 p.m. and goes on till 1 a.m., and features a DJ spinning hits designed to pack the dance floor. The dining and entertainment package includes a four-course prix fixe holiday menu at elements, a bottle of Champagne, and party favors for a premium fee and reservations are required to attend.
Noon Year’s Eve at Phoenix Zoo
From 9 a.m. to noon on December 31, the Phoenix Zoo presents the “coolest” way to celebrate the New Year: “Noon Year’s Eve.” Festivities include tons of snow, dancing, music, games, and prizes, all of which are included with regular Zoo admission.
Fiesta Bowl Parade
The valley’s annual staple event is sure a crowd pleaser. Bring chairs, the kids, some snacks and your camera for the spectacular parade that features bands, floats and more.
The University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale will host the annual game and tailgating event on New Year’s Eve. This isn’t a traditional NYE party with but you can be sure there will be a party with fans cheering on their teams.
The Rawhide Event Center in Chandler will host hosts their annual New Year’s Eve bash called “Decadence Arizona” on December 30 and 31. The two-day festival that encourages guests to embrace self-indulgence and extravagant excess as they lower their inhibitions to live lavishly and let loose in luxurious fashion. A variety of musical performers in the electronic music scene perform on several stages around the event.
New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Saguaro
Ring in the New Year with LIVE 101.5 in a multi-room bash at the Saguaro in Scottsdale. Tickets include a midnight champagne toast, massive balloon drop, and music from top Phoenix and Scottsdale DJs. General Admission tickets provide access to the Main Ballroom and include a complimentary midnight champagne toast along with party favors and hats. The Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino in Chandler celebrates New Year’s Eve 2017 with a great event that includes dinner, drinks, live entertainment, dancing, and more to ring in the new year. “Tastes from Around the World,” a special dinner and drinks event for the occasion, takes place at the Acacia Ballroom from 6:30 p.m. midnight.
New Year’s Eve Show at the Nash
From 7:30 to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve 2017, get your jazz fix with two of the best-known jazz couples in the Valley: Judy Roberts & Greg Fishman and Delphine Cortez & Joel Robin. Roberts, Chicago’s First Lady of Jazz for a number of years, joins the others in an evening full of fun music, humor, and, of course, a champagne toast to celebrate the New Year of Eastern Standard Time.
Shimmer NYE at W Scottsdale
The W Hotel in Scottsdale hosts a spectacular event at their “Goldmember New Year’s Eve” party, where the hotel transforms its WET Deck and Living Room Lounge into a night of golden celebration including a rooftop fireworks show at midnight.
New Year’s Eve Party at Padre Murphy’s
The party starts at 8:30 p.m. featuring live music from Black Horse Band as well as Chef Steve’s New Year’s Eve Special Surf and Turf Dinner, party favors and festive hats, and a champagne toast at midnight.
New Year’s Eve at Topgolf
Both Topgolf at Gilbert and Scottsdale will host New Year’s Eve events for you and six of your friends can swing in the new year. Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale will be a happening spot place on New Years Eve with ice skating and Fiesta Bowl happenings for college football fans. Westgate bars and restaurants will open as early as 9 a.m. on Dec. 31 to welcome Fiesta Bowl fans. Open daily from noon until 8 p.m. near the Skate Westgate ice rink, an immersive Facebook VR experience will be open to the public with Samsung’s Gear VR, powered by Oculus.
